One Year

Our one year wedding anniversary came so fast! I still can't believe we have already been married for a year. October 29 this year was another glorious day in Sonoma County just like the day we were blessed with last year.

We got out of town and celebrated our one year at the cabin. It was a beautiful weekend, but I hardly took any pictures so you will just have to take my word for it! The week before we had our first big storm of the season bringing nearly three feet of snow to the Sierras. We decided to hike up to "engagement point" (where Luke popped the question) in honor of our one year anniversary. We had heard it had snowed, but didn't think much of it and failed to bring snow shoes for the hike. We ended up hiking the entire time in very deep slushy snow - each step would sink down to our knees! Fun hike nonetheless and a beautiful blue bird day.

It has been a great year for sure. I look forward to many many more and am excited for what our future holds.
